We regularly receive fan-mail, this was submitted by Alyson:
I was visiting your site, and i thought that it was completely stupid and full of b*llcrap. You Muslims are all the same and i really hate some things about all of you. The media is right about all of u. You all are terorists who don't care about any human or ur own people. Whats wrong with you all? My head starts boiling when i see one of u killing innocent people who haven't done anything to u. You all are dirty and u don't have any manners. Why do u even run this site? Because u can tell people how good u are when u kill innocent people? You force your wives into s*x and u oppress them. I dont know how woman in ur religion can take it, but they are probably wh*res too. I hate it when i see any of u on the streets, in shopping malls, and i always make sure not to go on flights where u all are cuz i know what you do and i know you are just tricking others by explaining that ur religion is 'peaceful'. I hope u all go to hell and u all die.

i just read what you wrote bout women being oppressd and i just wanted u2 no that i am part of this beautiful religion and i am far from oppressd if anything i think women in the western culture are oppressd.. we dont call it opression we call it being modest the way us women are in this beautiful religion..and i agree with the above how can u just stereo type like dat..if it is such a bad religion then y is it the fastest growing religion...? i can garuntee u that if u was to look in to islam you would find it so interesting and you wud defo wana learn and no more.. and i think its totally immature to say we are probably "whores" cuz darling we are far from it

as for killing innocent people well look around you blind lady and see who is killing who, who is invading who and you expect muslims not to defend themselves and there countries.....

Firstly not all Muslims are the same, to say this is to deny and appreciate the beauty of individuality of each person.
Secondly the media is NOT right about all of us and we are not all terrorists who do not care about our fellow humans. In generic terms a terrorist is a person who instills fear in people, this certainly is not something I do, in fact my religion teaches me to give back to the community I live in whether this is giving to Muslims or non Muslims it does not matter we are all the creation of God at the end of the day. The profession in which I work and in which many of my Muslims friends work is healthcare and involves helping people and giving back to the community, how can it be then that we DO NOT CARE ABOUT OTHER HUMANS?
Thirdly, myself and the Muslims I know DO NOT kill innocent people in fact we are advocates of peace and would like to live in harmony with the rest of the human race, but when people have attitudes like yours do you not think it makes it difficult, for our voices and calls for peace to be heard? since you generalise us all as 'being the same.'
Fourthly, I am not dirty, infact my religion teaches me that half my faith lies in 'cleanliness' and we wash/perform ablution and then perfume ourselves 5 times per day before we pray. Regarding manners, my religion and my parents have taught me the most beautiful of manners whether this is etiquettes of eating, speaking with others and treating family.
Fifthly Muslim wives are not forced into 'the marital relationship' in fact Islam teaches mutual respect with relationships. Maybe you should read the statistics on domestic violence especially in the UK which indicate factors such as sexual abuse significantly occurs within white couples, therefore for such a comment to again be generalised is not really accurate.
Regarding not going on flights because of a fear of what we might do, to be honest I hate flying and can't wait to get off the plane so the only thing I do on a flight is sleep, whereas my sister on the other hand watches all the in flight movies, see we are all different.!
Regarding death, you stated you hope we all die, well i guess it is a fact of life that one day we are all going to die! so you don't need to hope because its inevitable.
Lastly you seem to have a lot of hate in you, the only thing I can give you is the advice of Booker T Washington which was not to degrade or lower one's soul through hating someone.
Lets pray that Allah guides these people to seeking some knowledge, something they clearly lack!
