The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "When Allah decided upon to create, He also pledged Himself to be merciful to all His creation, by writing in His Book which is with Him above His Throne, "My mercy shalll prevail over My anger." ' (Bukhari, Muslim: Abu Hurayrah).
