Friendship

Nowadays we call everyone our friend. That’s how easily we make friends. Whether they live in the same city or on the other side of the world, we just have a lot of friends.

There’s a saying: Out of sight out of mind.

A friend of mine said that this saying applied to me. That made me think. Am I really that bad and superficial? It is always easy to make friends, but maintaining them is a true art. In my case I have always been the one to maintain friendships but for how long was I to do this? Continue reading "Friendship "...

Wedding The Halal Way!

After x-amount of requests, we've re-posted this article.

The “halal bond” of two cultures, or rather said getting married to someone from a different culture. More and more people leave their own boys and girls aside and choose to be with someone from a strange culture. But this process doesn’t run smoothly. Just imagine, you’re a Pakistani and you come home with an Indian, believe me, this is where all the trouble begins, and there are not much people who will accept this with a big smile on his or her face. It has to be big and each family tries to outdo the other. Not to mention how we love to spend all that money……. What do we reach with that? Sharing your joy is beautiful but is it really necessary to spend so much money?

Attack on Queens-day

Though I recently moved here, I regularly visit the country where I was born: the Netherlands. I was there last week. By coincidence it was around the time that Queensday is celebrated on the 30th of April. What do we do on the April 30th? Well there is music, free market and various activities for young and old. In short much fun. The Royal family is having a day out and is amongst the general population. Video Report by RTL-news:?
