This week a fatwa, or religious ruling, has been issued by one of the eminent scholars of our time, Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. A fatwa that is is unique and one of a kind, a 600-page fatwa condeming Al-Qaeda and the terrorists that perform their vicious acts based on the Qur'an and Islam.

The situation in Haiti is getting worse by the minute unless we step into help them. If you haven't heard by now, Haiti was hit by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake, an earthquake the country hasn't witnessed in 200 years. Initial death toll was placed at 100,000, but is gradually rising to 200,000 people who could be dead. There's people who are desperate for food, clothing, and shelter.

This is our time to help these people in need. Even worse, the majority of the Haitian captial Port-au-Prince has been completely obliterated, including the Presidential Palace. This is a test from Allah (swt) for the people of Haiti, but even more for us because it tests our ability to help our brothers and sisters who are struggling to hold onto their lives.

As you might have noticed, we didn't post articles for approximately a week. Fortunately, this downtime bought us time to:

- Setup a new design
- Tighten up security
- Increase server performance
- Make database/site backups
- Reduce the number of bugs in the back end of the system.

Familiar?

Going to a random mosque and not feeling like doing wudhu due to the condition of the wudhu areas...

One place has only got cold water, the other hasn't even got that. No towel, you can't sit down proper, floors too slippy, and never mind about the consequences if some foot slips into the gutter...

When you think of Muslims in the media, you automatically think about violent protests, effigies being burnt, embassies being torched and other horrendous acts of violence. The Muslims who get noticed in the U.K. media, and those who get front page news are loud mouthed Mulla's with scruffy beards, wearing some kind of foreign garments, they are normally condemning one thing or another, declaring holy war on something, claiming that the U.K. System is corrupt and everyone is going to hell, all the while claiming benefits from the state. The average U.K. citizen couldn't be to blame if he felt all ordinary everyday Muslims, including his neighbours were cut from the same cloth.
